Since we're all migrating out of here and journey to the new forum, say your goodbyes to this one!

    Farewell! :cheer:

I've really enjoyed my time here. It's been great interacting with so many different personalities, sometimes frustrating, always enlightening, and I look forward to many more adventures in learning at the new place! See all of you there! Emojis arise!

I am a little bit disappointed but also look towards positive possibilities of a new forum. In the last few months, where there are a lack of new members, I have found the forum to be so 'samey'. I am not sure whether this shows an error in my own thinking or the forum itself.

I love philosophy discussion, especially in pointing to the weaknesses in my own thinking. I would like to pursue further issues and I am.wondering about bowing ot here, if everything in this forum is going to vanish from the site . Nevertheless, I like to be progressive in thinking of philosophy discussion and just hope that it can be continued in the most crucial and lively way on any new site which is developed..

Been on this forum for over six years now— December 17th, 2019 is when I joined. Since then, there’s been covid, 3 US administrations, and for me two houses, one child, and 7,383 posts — 12 of which are really good. I even had a stint as moderator until my daughter showed up. And it all happened on this site. It’ll have a fond place in my mind.

I don’t know if I’ll use the new site as much, but I’m looking forward to it anyway — and plan on making more of an effort to be more friendly. We’ll see!
