Question for those who specialize in logic

    im a physics major who used to major in philosophy so i have a bit of philosophy background. my question is that is it still possible to contribute in philosophical logic while studying physics? i mean i read a lot and have almost finished this introduction to philosophical logic book. How do i know if i am already qualified to specialize in a single topic in logic after self-studying introductory logic books? I love physics and math but philosophy is too interesting to not research about

    I dunno. Can you walk and chew gum at the same time? They're different sure, most do focus on one thing at a time for best results.

    As far as how do you know when you're 'qualified' to study one you'd naturally ask a teacher or professor, who should only be a few doors down or a floor away for you. Post more. Lots of smart people here. They'll show you what you need to know by pointing out any flaws in your logic. And you'll learn from it.
