Like many philosopher's, they all have their virtues and vices as it were, and in my opinion Schopenhauer is no exception. A couple reasons why I find him intriguing is because of his philosophy associated with the Metaphysical Will, as well as his thoughts about the phenomenon of music and its influence/impact on human nature.

I ran across this video while researching something completely different, and had to laugh. Fast forward to around the 2 thru 6- minute mark, for his cursory view on Love and Sex. I found it interesting that basically, if it were not for sex, men and women would hate each other. Any truth to that?
