I have a thought experiment and am curious to know what you believe would happen in the case that this hypothetical situation existed:
Suppose that somehow a child was born that could not age. Something sort of Benjamin-buttonesque I guess.
But not only could they not age past the biological state of say a toddler (3/4 years old) they also projected a state or sphere or influence around those in proximity to him/ her - their parents and siblings - so that they too couldn’t age, this ensuring that the toddler always had a parent and family to look after them.
The toddler cannot control who ages or not it just goes by those who spend the most time in close proximity to him/her and also maxes out at say 5/6 other people.

What do you suspect would happen do you think the worlds leading powers would try to kidnap the child? Or would the justice system protect the toddler and their family from being harassed or persecuted and put them in like special protection. Would it be allowed or ethical to try to scientifically investigate and examine the child for this un-ageing phenomenon? Especially if the concerned parents refused to give medical permission?

Also if it were found that the anti-ageing phenomenon could be expanded out to include more people but only at the detriment of the child’s own well-being or health would that be at all ethical considering it would also prevent age related harm and deaths of others, could suspend cancer patients and the terminally ills untimely deaths long enough to have a full lifespans etc. etc.
