I want to read Hume - A standard of taste. Unfortunately, his writing style is a little hard for me to understand- is there some sort of high quality commentary books I can buy that break down the work into smaller bits and explain what he is saying?

Have a look at https://www.earlymoderntexts.com/texts . They’re annotated and the text modernised a bit. As Hume is standard fare in University philosophy courses, there’s an abundance of explanatory material about him available.
