Looking for a particular contemporary philosopher whose name I've forgotten. He's Asian-American, of Japanese descent I believe, and primarily a philosopher of religion if I remember correctly.

Not just a random academic either, but someone who had quite a few published books out that I was looking to purchase at one point, and several interviews out on YouTube. Most of those videos covered topics on the existence of God and the symbolism of Heaven and Hell etc.

Trying to google it only brings up Francis Fukuyama, but it's certainly not him. This guy was younger and not as prominent.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could you possibly be referring to T.K. Seung? He's of Korean descent, but one of his main focuses is the Divine Comedy. He's rather old though.
