    Summary:

It is a common observation that the right operates by projection. Whatever it is they are crying and whining about, you can be sure that is what they are doing. And boy to they cry and whine about voter fraud.

But this goes beyond just projection. Over the past several years right have drummed up an enormous amount of false outrage over completely made-up, imaginary voter fraud. This has gone into frenzied overdrive with the totally baseless Trumpy claims about 2020. Using this outrage as cover, state governments have pushed through massive voter suppression (theft), thereby themselves perpetuating actual voter fraud right under everyone's noses.

According to Greg, even using conservative assumptions, this fraud SWUNG the election.

Of course, from our "far left" media, we get crickets.

This was a warning about one facet of the fraud, vigilante vote-fraud laws, given before the election, and completely ignored:

I've only just noticed this. Wonder why nobody else has.
Well-hell, they've been cheating and stealing elections for decades, with gerrymandering, registration restrictions, voter suppression tactics, hiding and moving the polling stations, intimidation when the 'wrong' people found them anyway, counting and reporting practices... this time, under the trumpite incentives, they went all out. But an even bigger factor was the propaganda machine.
Lotta milk spilt; whole lotta cryin', no recourse.

I object to labelling changes to the law as "fraud".

Changes were made in 2020 because of the pandemic. The changes made it easier to vote. As a consequence, we had record turnout (as a % of eligible voters). A positive consequence of the higher turnout: Trump lost.

The GOP scaled this back, making it harder to vote. Consequently, voter turnout was lower and Trump won.

It's easy to blame the law for the consequence, but I blame voters for not feeling sufficiently motivated to vote in spite of the impediments. I also blame single issue voters who stayed home because they perceived "no difference" on their single issue, and underestimated how bad things would get.
