I feel like everything has no meaning anymore, but not in a depressive bitchy way, for sure theirs a lot of people with a beautiful meaningful missions for the greater good or some bs like that, why would a care about the greater good if not for your own benefit?
Dont try to be the hero that saves the world, cause I know that you wouldn't save a world if it was for you to get worst, superman saves the world because he doesn't want to died, him or his loved ones, because if his loved ones die he would get sad, and he doesn't want to be fucking sad, so even him saving his family its not for them, its for him, so lets all be honest about our egoism yes? If superman can be egoist you can be, stop pretending you not.
So im a egoist motherfucker, Ok and I dont care, Ok. So what the fuck im I suppose to do? Be a fucking cunt to every one? Fuck no, you need to be licked, to have friendships or you go down in you little world alone and miserable, you dont want that, you want to be strong, proud, a great man, the problem is that every great deed, every great adventure, every great battle has already occur, every great man as already died, at least the ones I feel connected to, the great conquerers that made their dreams reality, the great sailors who discover the world, the great warriors who change a country fate, the great leaders that change the minds of endless crowds. All dead. We have a lot of great people now a days, sure, businessmen, politicians, athletes, scientists but its not the same, they dont have the virtue, the god like status that their predecessors had.
We still have fighters you say, the great Mike Tyson, Buakaw, Ali, Khabib, sure but what are they fighting for? Money and Glory? Like the gladiators of past? Fuck that. They build no country, they conqueror no nation, they just get rich and died stupid with brain damage. Im not undermining them, far from that, hard, tough, dedicated, brave men will always have my respect, I aspire to be like them. I just dont feel that their fight is worth it.
So if nothing matters and theres nothing achievable to do why not just fuck pretty women and do Coke until my nose falls, one thing im certain, I could do that to the end of days and be happy. Because you would be a fucking bitch with no self control if you go down that path. Theirs no great fight to fight over, sure, but thats no reason to be weak, to be a mindless hedonist Find a fight to fight, we all have one, the biggest and most important fight to have to win all the others, the fight with our selfs, our demons, our weakness, our misery. Dont fight to win, fight to kill, destroy, enslave all does petty emotions, once the war is won embrace them as new allies, they now know who rules, whos in command, rule with a firm hand over them cause they ill revolt if not, they are now yours to command and use, the pain, the anger, the envy are now your fuel, the reason you will thrive. But as conquerors we want our realm to be endless, forever growing, so find new enemy's to fight, theirs infinite pain for you to endure if you strong enough, you are the one who create the nations you will conquer, so make them huge almost impossible to win so when you do win them you can be proud and far stronger than you once were.

    I loved it.

Western society is no longer an example worthy of emulating. It provides nothing in the way of spiritual fulfillment, no role models, no worthy causes, etc.

It's just a hot mess. We're all caught up in it.

If you're living in the city you'll have it worst. I would consider moving to a place closer to nature, where you'll probably find more like-minded people seeking to get away from the clownshow.

    Welcome to the forum.

To start, this is a philosophy forum - a fairly informal one, but generally we take it seriously. It's not Reddit. So - spelling, capitalization, and grammar matter. Also, lay off all the fucks, cunts, and shits. They get used here, but more sparingly, for emphasis or insult. Generally, the more dirty words, the lower quality the post. Time to grow up.

Discussions about nihilism are common and not a problem, although I don't have a taste for them. I'll just say that many (most) of us don't see things that way.

Dont try to be the hero that saves the world, cause I know that you wouldn't save a world if it was for you to get worst, superman saves the world because he doesn't want to died, him or his loved ones, because if his loved ones die he would get sad, and he doesn't want to be fucking sad, so even him saving his family its not for them, its for him,Matias Isoo

I love my friends and family and I want them to be safe and happy. I don't take it as personally, but I feel that way about humanity in general. I like people. I wish them well. You don't feel that way? Ok, but that's you, not the rest of us.

We have a lot of great people now a days, sure, businessmen, politicians, athletes, scientists but its not the same, they dont have the virtue, the god like status that their predecessors had.Matias Isoo

Those great men you talk about were no more "god like" than people around today. They were just as ruthless, immoral, power-hungry, and cruel as you seem to want to be. Their status is a product of slanted history and your fantasy life. They killed and enslaved millions of people.

You think anyone living in western society today (which I'm assuming this thread is about) is going to be remembered as a great person?

Certainly. And as history shows it, we have no idea of them at the present. Only the future will define who is seen as a great person of the start of the 21st Century. Important historical figures there naturally will be that we also know. Vladimir Putin is one example. People like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs possibly Elon Musk will be noticed too, just like Henry Ford or John D Rockefeller are historical figures.

I never said that I didn't wish my loved ones well, for many of them I would sacrifice a lot, but why? Because their well being matters more than my own, let me use an example:
Lets say someone I care really deeply loses the eye sight and the only way for them to gain it back its me giving them on of my eyes, I would lose half of my own eye sight, what would I do? If I really cared deeply about that person I would gave up my eye to them, why would I do it if I would get in a worse position than before? Because it would give me more pain knowing someone I love so deeply will be blind for the rest of their lives than gave up my eye.
So did I gave up my eye for them? Or just because I didn't want to fill the immense pain and suffering that I would felt if I didn't do that. The answer is the last.
That was the point that I tried to make, and I truly believe thats how everyone operates knowingly or not.

Again, we're pretty open and informal here, but it's hard to take you seriously if you write that way. As easygoing as we may be, we take our ideas and how they are expressed seriously.

We are generally tolerant of people for whom English is not their primary language, but language is important.

Everyone reacts differently to what they see. To some extent we can choose how we react to things, how we choose to frame what we see. I tend to think this is a great time to be alive and I prefer life today to what it was like when I was young in the 1970-80's. I love the increased diversity and choices, the better food and the technology.

This is a matter of self-awareness, our ability to look at ourselves clearly from the inside. I try to be aware of the motivations of my actions, with reasonable success. I know this - most of the things I do arise from within without any particular goal in mind. They are non-rational. The come from the heart, if you will - what the Tao Te Ching calls our "Te," or intrinsic virtuosities. It seems like that's something you don't recognize in yourself. Perhaps you make these kinds of decisions differently than I do or perhaps you are not sufficiently self-aware. This is from the Chuang Tzu, along with the Tao Te Ching, one of the founding documents of Taoism.

What I call good is not humankindness and responsible conduct, but just being good at what is done by your own intrinsic virtuosities. Goodness, as I understand it, certainly does not mean humankindness and responsible conduct! It is just fully allowing the uncontrived condition of the inborn nature and allotment of life to play itself out. What I call sharp hearing is not hearkening to others, but rather hearkening to oneself, nothing more. — Chuang Tzu - Ziporyn translation

We could get weirder in America. I propose a permanent flash theater mob of folk dressed up as Trump doing Trump like things. We will bath in the energy of universal narcissism as we dance in orange wigs and oversized cheap suits, have mock Trump sex with mock Trump prostitutes in the public square. We will take shits on the graves of men and women who have given their lives in service to the country while selling bibles. We'll sing the country's greatest hits: "Grab them by the Pussy" and "Love Me, I'm a Strong man with Large hands".

If we get shot and lose our jobs while doing it, oh well. It's hard to have fun adventure without taking a risk. We can just pretend we've got presidential resources.

When the malaise of senselessness has reaches its last tipping point, many of us will have died in service to the great Trump dance.

It will be a dancing plague for strong bastards to become weak bitches, to exhaust and draw down the devils of our desires, in a communion of becoming One with Trump. Once our bodies are used up and broken, we can lie down on the side walk and stay there until we perish from lack of purpose.
