I saw once three documentaries (sequels) about idealistic civilizations with socialist themes and I recall it started with talks of Jesus and the many prior stories Jesus was clearly based on. How money may no be necessary in the future and stuff like that. For the life of me can't remember what it was called. Was on Netflix at one time. Any suggestions of what it might have been?

There's a great historical drama by Peter Watkins called La Commune (Paris, 1871) that's filmed in the style of a documentary. It's nearly 6 hours long.
